5 Keys to Attracting More Clients With Engaging Website Copy – What to Put On Your Website

If you’re wanting to build a website or a blog to promote your services but are confused about what you REALLY need to have on there to get the word out, this blog post will help you get the essentials right; it will help you turn your website from a fancy pants bells and whistle pretty site into a client attraction magnet.

If you want to be making more money in your business, your site should reflect the professionalism you want your business to uphold. I always say invest in a good site BUT make sure you have the right things on it!

You can pay a lot of money to have someone build you a pretty site but unless it brings you leads and helps you turn prospects into paying clients, it’s just another pretty site that’s quite useless if you ask me.

#1 – Build relationships first…

The way to guarantee the people landing on your site stay and become engaged members of your community is to build relationships first. The way to do that is by letting them know that you understand their predicament. It’s only when folks feel that you really understand their problems, will they be open enough to even listening to what you have to say.

So start with their problems, can you spell out in a few sentences what your prospects are struggling with? Here are a few engaging sentences to help you get started. These should be right on your home page for your readers to read and qualify themselves with as soon as they get to your site. I have these stated in a mini 3-minute video on my home page but writing them out works well too.

#2 – What Are Your Clients Struggling With?

Do you struggle with…
Do you suffer from…
Are you tired of…

If so, you are in the right place!
With my xyz system, program, you’ll discover (these benefits):
Eliminate stress
Lose the last 10 pesky pounds
Make more money
Save time
Whatever benefit your product or service delivers.

#3 – Call to Action

Then you want to have a call to action to let your readers know what action you want them to take next.

Sign up to receive your free audio, free report, free video series or e-book, call me to book your appointment. (Direct your audience to give you their email address in exchange for some kind of white paper or educational e-book or free report).

I recommend you always have your audience sign up to learn more about you and how you can help them solve their problem. This is your chance to educate your audience on why you are the expert they should hire to help them solve their problem.

#4 – Solving Problems for Profit

Remember, people pay problem solvers. Get into the habit of solving problems for profit…

Don’t expect people to jump straight “into bed” with you or buy your product or service right away after visiting your site. A good client attractive website allows you to begin developing and cultivating a relationship with people first. Care & give first and the money will come.

#5 – Educate, Educate, Educate!

What are 5 of the biggest mistakes you see your clients making? Can you create a free white paper about how you can help them overcome them? If you create something that really delivers value to your audience and it really helps them – they will be more inclined & willing to pay you once you do send them an offer.

It’s the rule of reciprocity. People almost feel obliged to return the favor when you GIVE first.

What will you create to educate & engage your audience with? I challenge you to create it within the next 48 hours. Easy, type up something in word and save it as a PDF, don’t fuss over getting it to look perfect – just get it done.
